About Drew
Hello! My name is Drew. Life is an adventure. I frequently hear the following from my friends…. “You have had such an interesting life!” And, “It’s amazing you are still here to tell about it.” I think they are right on the money. I have been through some shit and lived to tell about it. I have been in terrible relationships, almost died (twice, ask me about it), speak Spanish, have lived in other countries, and still wake up most mornings ready to slay (but NOT before coffee!).
This is the part of my website where I could get heavy in the clinical jargon, but I will just be upfront with you. I am trained educationally and in the school of life. I have been working in some capacity in the counseling/therapy field since I was 19 years old. I love this work and it shows. I am committed to doing my own work so I can help you do yours.

I have worked in high-pressure and high-powered jobs and I’ve also lived abroad volunteering with the Peace Corps. All this to say, my experience might be different than yours, but I am a real person and not just someone that is going to analyze and tell you what to do. If my experience can help save you some of the bullshit, I am happy to help but in the end, the journey is what you choose to do with it.
I incorporate humor into the therapy session at times. I can laugh at myself and support you when you do not feel like laughing. Some clients have said that I have the memory of an elephant. I will typically remember the name of your best friend from elementary school and how you felt when you had a fight with your mom a year ago. I do not remember just because I have a good memory, it’s because I am interested in your story and what makes you who you are. Part of being interested in your story is getting to know you. That also makes it easier for me to see your BS from a mile away and I am the type of therapist who is going to call you on it. The only thing you get from sugar coating is a toothache. No toothaches here.
I love working with women who feel stuck but need help finding out why and are ready to think outside of the box. Psychedelics aren’t just something my clients use to help them think outside of the box, I have also turned to them in my own times of struggle or need for clarity. I am sure that my progress has been greatly influenced by them.
I know what it’s like to juggle motherhood, work-life, and still find time to do things that make you happy. I am walking proof that major transitions in your life can be an invitation to a spring board or a trap door. I want to work with you if you want to jump on the first one and not fall in the second. I know that self-care is not the only cure. The goal is to get you out of your head and get you on the spring board as soon as possible and create a life you want to live.
This is the right place and I can help you. Life can be happy, fulfilling, and enjoyable again. You can create a life you do not need to escape from.
I attended the University of Vermont for my BSW and Yeshiva University for my MSW. I have been working over half of my life in social service agencies, hospitals, non-profit organizations, and start-up companies. I’m excited to help fellow women heal and live their lives in a way that honors their authentic selves.
xxx Drew
